Buffalo Wild Wings Opens Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Buffalo Wild Wings, known for its 26 sauces and dry rubs, opened its door for business last week on July 17 in the former Outback Steakhouse space at 715 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard.

It’s the fourth Charleston-area franchise for the national chain and seventh in South Carolina. There are two other Buffalo Wild Wings locations in North Charleston and one in Summerville.

It’s popular among diners for its sports bar atmosphere (hello 40 TVs), casual fare and specials, like bottomless appetizers for $9.99. Just like anywhere in Mount Pleasant, the restaurant is family friendly and offers a separate kids menu.

Grube Inc. owns and operates 74 Buffalo Wild Wings location franchises in nine states and will operate the Mount Pleasant location.

“Grube Inc. decided on the Mount Pleasant location due to the density of people living in and around the area, along with the thousands traveling on 17,” said Rick Small, Director of Marketing with Grube Inc. “We also feel that Mount Pleasant has a diverse group of current and future residents.”

Grube Inc is a true community partner, donating thousands of dollars back into the communities they serve every year. They’ve partnered with the local chambers, schools and non-profits to give back in more ways than one.

Bree Micheal is general manager of the Mount Pleasant restaurant. The restaurant will have 60 employees from the Charleston region. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday. From Thursday to Sunday, it will be open until midnight.

Buffalo Wild Wings Mount Pleasant offers delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats, as well as catering through EZCater.
