Through the Chamber’s Leadership Center, members gain access to development opportunities that strengthen leadership capacity, support retention and prepare teams for what comes next.
This summer, Leadership Discovery and Insightful Leadership offer two distinct paths for that growth. Each program is designed for a different stage of leadership, giving individuals and employers the opportunity to choose the experience that best aligns with the leader they are developing.
Insightful Leadership – Inspire Thriving Teams Through Trust & Empathy
Insightful Leadership is built for mid-to-senior-level professionals who are ready to transform how they lead, influence and support others.
Guided by Kenya Dunn, the four-session program explores the leadership capabilities that increasingly define strong organizations, including decision-making, empathy, cultural awareness and adaptability. Participants will examine how these skills shape trust, collaboration and performance across teams.
The program is well suited for people managers, cross-functional leaders and professionals whose influence extends beyond a formal title.

Leadership Discovery – Building the Foundation of Impactful Leadership
Leadership Discovery is designed for high-potential professionals who are beginning to define how they want to lead.
Through six mentor-led sessions with accomplished business leaders from across the Charleston region, participants gain perspective on the experiences, decisions and lessons that shaped their leadership. The program also includes an NBI® Thinking Preferences Assessment and orientation workshop, along with a three-course business etiquette dinner.
The result is a stronger sense of self, greater confidence in professional settings and a more intentional approach to leadership.
