JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of the Chamber’s programs and initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Chamber’s offerings align with the strategic plan and provide maximum value to members. It will support the delivery of the Chamber’s Leadership Center programs and Workforce Development initiatives while ensuring a high level of customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implement core programs of the Leadership Center in alignment with Chamber brand by managing their scheduling, contracts and/or related documents, agendas, scripting, etc.
- Coordinates logistics and set up for program delivery, including venue selection, speaker coordination and material development.
- Work with the SVP of Programs & Initiatives to help coordinate, prepare and deliver leadership programs; making sure that they are aligned with the mission of the organization.
- Oversees program registration, attendance tracking and evaluation.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Chamber members, local businesses, community organizations and other stakeholders to support program initiatives.
- Manages assigned event budgets, ensuring that expenses are at or under budgeted amounts, while demonstrating flexibility as revenues come in to ensure net goals are met.
- Accountable for directing and overseeing volunteers and ensuring that all leadership programs, resources and engagement activities meet the needs of the members.
- Delegate and manage events staffing for employees and volunteers
- Serve as an internal resource for managing consistency amongst all Chamber events and programs.
- Complete budgetary requirements of specific events, handling event expenses and adjusting as needed to hit overall event net revenues.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Membership teams to ensure content and sponsorship accuracy in marketing materials, speaker/panelist contact information, invitations and flyers, nametags, scripts, agendas, etc.
- Serve as liaison to Marketing department to ensure events are messaged and marketed to maximize attendance.
- Collect, analyze and report data on program effectiveness, participant feedback and key performance indicators.
- Work cross-divisionally to maintain up-to-date information relating to activities on the Chamber website, Chamber event calendars and the CRM database
- Adhere to approved processes and financial procedures when handling money.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience planning and executing programs and events ranging in size from 20-500 attendees
- Extensive knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with a customer relationship management database
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for program events and activities
- Ability to solve problems and work independently
