On Wednesday, February 18, the Charleston Metro Chamber is proud to participate in the inaugural Veteran Entrepreneur Forum, presented by the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs aboard the historic USS Yorktown at Patriots Point.
This half-day forum, hosted by SCDVA Secretary, Todd B. McCaffrey, will bring together veteran entrepreneurs, business leaders and community partners to share practical tools, resources and strategies to help businesses grow and thrive.
In addition to a keynote address from Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette, attendees will hear from expert panelists on funding, financial management, contracting opportunities, business strategy and emerging tools such as AI shaping the future of entrepreneurship. Through dynamic keynote speakers, interactive sessions, breakout groups and panel discussions, veteran entrepreneurs will receive valuable information and insights tailored to their needs.
The forum will also showcase organizations that support Veteran entrepreneurs, provide opportunities to learn from veterans who have successfully transitioned to business ownership and connect with potential mentors, partners and peers.
Veteran entrepreneurs across the Charleston region are a key contributor to our thriving business community. Events like the Veteran Entrepreneurs Forum are essential to growing and strengthening businesses that support our workforce and drive the economy.
I invite our region’s veterans, entrepreneurs and transitioning service members to take part in this valuable resource and play a role in strengthening both their businesses and the region.
