The Lowcountry MBA leverages the nationally renowned Interise StreetWise MBA® program, a dynamic curriculum that empowers minority business owners to unlock their potential. Through expert guidance, collaborative peer learning and hands-on application, participants gain practical strategies to build sustainable, scalable success.
At the core of the program is the development of a personalized three-year Strategic Growth Action Plan (SGAP), a blueprint to confidently drive your business forward. Along the journey, you’ll refine essential business practices, strengthen your financial position and create a workplace culture that inspires excellence. You'll also become part of a dynamic network of entrepreneurs and mentors who will support and motivate you to achieve your highest potential.

One-on-One Mentor Sessions
- Individualized mentoring sessions with business leaders from the Charleston region, aimed at honing business strategy.
Strategic Growth Action Plan (SGAP)
- Personalized plan that focuses business strategy over the next 3 years.
- Presented to business community leaders and fellow cohort members.
Program Timeframe:
Class Runs: January 17, 2025 - December 2025
- Orientation & Financial Boot Camp: Friday, January 17
- Additional session dates and times still to come.
Participants should anticipate attending half-day sessions each month for instruction and dedicate time each month to meeting with mentors.
Ideal Candidates:
- Businesses that have passed the start-up phase and are looking to scale.
- Equipped with the ability to make decisions regarding the company's direction moving forward.
- One or more additional employees besides the business owner.
- 2+ years of business operation.
